Central University of Gujarat invites Applicants for Recruitment of Senior Technical Assistant and Technical Assistant in Gandhinagar. Eligible Candidates Apply before 26th February 2016.

Central University of Gujarat in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India was established through an Act of Parliament, Central Universities Act, 2009 by Government of India. The Central Universities Bill 2009 aims at creating one new central university each in Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. It also seeks to convert Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya in Chhattisgarh, Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya in Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) and Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand into Central universities.

Eligibility Criteria:

Senior Technical Assistant (on contract) : 01 PostsMinimum Qualifications: B.E. in Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum five years of working and maintenance experience of sophisticated scientific Instruments in a Laboratory.Consolidated Salary: Rs. 25000/- per month.

Technical Assistant (on contract) : 02 PostsM.Sc. in Chemical Sciences/Life Sciences/Environmental Science/Physical sciences/InstrumentationAt least three years’ experience working in a research laboratory preferably attached with a recognized University.Consolidated Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
